House is a fine example of the high Italianate style of architecture,
common in Australia in the mid-late nineteenth century. Built in the
1870's, it has been carefully restored to its period, with marble
fire-places, moulded plaster ceilings, and polished wooden floors and
iron-lace balconies.

Ardmore House is an elegant free
standing terrace house, redolent with the atmosphere of its age. A
beautiful semi-tropical garden allows guests to have breakfast under the
spreading eucalypts whilst watching the native parrots feeding.
